On Wednesday September 14th, Pacific Oaks participated in the annual Casual Day for Charity for the benefit of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Through the generous donations of employees, we will be making a very nice donation of $2,356.00. $2,000 came from $1.00 donations collected on Friday's throughout the year. Pacific Oaks staff may donate $1.00 on Fridays to wear jeans. Additional donations to Casual Day for Charity varied from $3.00 way up to $50.00.
The funds collected go toward helping children with serious illnesses and disabilities.
Each year we strive to donate more to this wonderful cause. In 2009 we donated $1735.00 and last year we donated $2,255.00. So if you see a member of the Pacific Oaks team wearing blue jeans, be sure to let them know how fabulous they are!
